17.CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL (FORCE MAJEURE)
a. We shallnot be liable to you for any breach, hindrance or delay in the performance ofour provision of Service attributable to any cause beyond our reasonablecontrol, including without limitation:
(1) Strikes,lock-outs or other industrial action.
(2) Civilcommotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war(whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.
(3) Fire,explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other naturaldisaster.
(4)Impossibility or severe disruption of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft,motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
(5)Impossibility or severe disruption of the use of public or privatetelecommunications networks.
(6) Theacts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government,shipping, postal or other relevant transport strike, failure or accidents.
(7) Failuresof the internet or any public telecommunications network, failures of ourhosting provider, hacker attacks, denial of service attacks, virus or othermalicious software attacks or infections or power failures or failures of yourcomputer systems or networks.
b. In thecircumstance that the Force Majeure event lasts for more than one week, eitheryou or we may cancel the Order forthwith by written notice and without any liabilityother than a refund of a Product already paid for by you and not delivered.
c. If wehave contracted to provide identical or similar Products to more than oneCustomer and are prevented from fully meeting our obligations to you by reasonof a Force Majeure event, we may decide at our absolute discretion which Orderwe will process and to what extent.
d. Wereserve absolute discretion on the solution we adopt in fully meeting ourobligations under each Order despite the Force Majeure event.
The laws ofHong Kong without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern youruse of this Website and any disputes that may arise between you and us at thisWebsite.
Any disputearising from and connected with your visit to this Website, the Services or theProducts you purchase shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction ofthe Hong Kong courts.
In the eventof inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms ofUse, the English version shall prevail.
II. TAX, DUTIES ANDCUSTOMS POLICIES
For deliveries outside Hong Kong, you are responsible for alltaxes and duties and custom charges from your local customs (import taxes areincluded in the shipping fees you pay). Customs policies vary widely fromcountry to country. You should contactyour local Customs for further information. You are considered the importer of the ordered Products and must complywith all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving theProducts.
Insurancecovers the Net Price per Unit of each Product and provides you a refund if theProduct is lost or damaged during shipment. The insurance does not cover delaysin delivery or shipment. For deliveries outside Hong Kong, the insurance costsare included in the shipping fees you pay.
IV. DELIVERY SERVICE
We are notresponsible for any damage, destruction or loss of the Products or latedelivery, wrong or missed pick up or tracking issues with the courier. We arenot liable for costs sustained as a result of a change in information on yourside, for example, change of shipping address.
2. Shipping Cost
All Orders are delivered by courier service. Total shipping costs will be shownon the Website and the Order confirmation when we confirm your Order. Shipmentscannot be made to P.O. boxes, or locations where delivery services are limitedby the carrier.
3. Original Invoice
Anoriginal invoice will be enclosed in the Product shipped to you. Please keep theoriginal invoice for any return andexchange of a Product. If for any reason, you do not receive an originalinvoice, please contact our customer service (email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone:(852) 2113 2266) within 7 days (from the date when delivery was signed andreceived) and you will be required to provide the Order confirmation of yourpurchase of Product. V. PAYMENT OPTION AND SECURITY
www.citychain.com implementsa variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personalinformation. When you place Orders with us, we offer the use of a secureserver. The secure server software, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypt allinformation you provide before it is sent to us.
VI. RETURN POLICY
1. Terms ofReturn
a. Product returns are applicable ONLY forsome brands.
b. We areunable to refund worn, sized or engraved Products.
c. Under ourreturn policy you may contact our customer services (email:email@example.com or phone: (852) 2113 2266) for return of a Productby mail or at our authorised retailers in Hong Kong. We will not entertain anyreturn of a Product after 14 days from date of purchase under any circumstances.
d. A Productmust be returned in its original condition, i.e. in the same condition as whenoriginally purchased with all original packaging materials, accessories, unusedwarranty cards, instruction booklets, free gift and gift redemptions, if any.If a free gift and/or gift redemption item is not returned, additional chargeswill be applied.
e. We willdetermine whether a returned Product is in its original condition (i.e. in thesame condition as when originally purchased with all original packagingmaterials, accessories, unused warranty cards, instruction booklets and giftredemption). Upon receiving your Product, we shall send you an email within 7working days informing you whether your request for refund is accepted. Ourdecision will be final.
f. We willdetermine whether a returned Product is defective, and our decision will befinal.
g. Returnsfor Products purchased at our authorised retailers will not be accepted throughthis Website.
h.Authorised retailers outside of Hong Kong DO NOT ACCEPT returns for www.citychain.com
i. If yourreturn of Product is accepted, we will refund the Net Price per Unit of eachreturned Product. The refund will be credited to the original payment account,to the same person who paid for the transaction. Fees including but not limitedto the following items will not be refunded:
j. Wereserve the right to handle any disputes by return of Products, refunds orcancellation of Order.
k. For HongKong deliveries, costs incurred during the purchase of Product, like feescharged by PayPal and/or credit card issuers, insurance costs and all otherrelated miscellaneous costs incurred for the purchase of the Product will notbe refunded.
l. For HongKong deliveries, costs incurred for the return of Products to us, like shippingcosts, any fees charged by PayPal and/or credit card issuers, insurance costsand all other related miscellaneous costs will also not be refunded.
m. For Internationaldeliveries, costs incurred during the purchase of Product, like originalshipping costs incurred for the delivery of the Products to you, any feescharged by PayPal and/or credit card issuers, insurance costs, importingcountries’ customs duties and sales taxes and all other related miscellaneouscosts incurred for the purchase of Products will not be refunded.
n. ForInternational deliveries, costs incurred for the return of Products to us, likecosts incurred for the return of Products to us, including shipping costs, anyfees charged by PayPal and/or credit card issuers, insurance costs, and allother related miscellaneous costs will also not be refunded.

f. Wrap the package securely and return the Products together with theRequired Documents for Return.
g. For your protection, ship your return via a traceable carrier, or aprepaid courier service. All the return shipping charges are to be borne byyou. “Collect Charge” shipment will be refused.
h. Please insure your Product for its Net Price per Unit. We are notresponsible for the damage or loss for returned Products that are not insured.
i. Send your return package to the address we provide when we give you theRA code. Please DO NOT return the Products to any address in our otherdocuments, or in our Website or we may not be able to trace the return shipmentand we will not be responsible for the lost shipment in transit.
j. Once your returned package has been received by us, it is processed andinspected before we proceed in approving or disapproving the return. Uponreceiving your Product, we shall send you an email within 7 working days informingyou whether your request for refund is accepted.

h. Once your returned package has been receivedby us, it is processed and inspected before we proceed in approving ordisapproving the return. Upon receiving your Product, we shall send you anemail within 7 working days informing you whether your request for refund isaccepted.
VII. EXCHANGE POLICY
a. Under ourexchange policy, you may contact our customer services for exchange of Productwithin 14 days by mail or at our authorised retailers in Hong Kong. We will notentertain requests made after 14 days.
b. Forexchange of Product by mail and at authorised retailer, the Product must bereturned in its original condition and packaging (with all hanging tags,warranty card, spare parts, free gifts and gift redemptions, if any), andwithout any signs of damage, alteration or wear and tear. If a free gift and/orgift redemption item is not returned, additional charges will be applied. Weare unable to exchange worn, sized or engraved watches.
c. Forexchange of Product by mail and at authorised retailer, a Product can only beexchanged once.

e. If your request forexchange is accepted, you are required to make a new Order at our Website.
f. The procedures ofReturn will be applied. We will refund the Net Price per Unit of each Product.You are required to make a new Order at our Website (please be reminded thatyou shall only make a new Order after receiving our confirmation of acceptanceof your return). Deliveries within Hong Kong are free. Please refer to II.Purchase Procedures, III. Tax, Duties and Customs Policies and IV. Insurancefor the new Order Procedures. For other costs incurred in the Return, “Terms ofReturn” section under Return Policy applies.
g. We will determinewhether a returned Product is in its original condition (i.e. in the samecondition as when originally purchased with all original packaging materials,accessories, unused warranty cards, instruction booklets and gift redemption)and our decision will be final.
h. After receiving the RAcode and address for return by email, wrap the package securely and return theProducts together with the Required Documents for Exchange.

l. Once your returnedpackage has been received by us, it is processed and inspected before weproceed in approving or disapproving the exchange. Upon receiving your Product,we shall send you an email within 7 working days informing you whether yourrequest for exchange is accepted.
m. You are responsiblefor all taxes and duties and shipping costs for the new purchase Order.
3.Exchange at Authorised Retailers in Hong Kong and Procedure for Exchange at OurAuthorised Retailers in Hong Kong
Please read our Terms of Exchangecarefully before your exchange.
a. Please contact usthrough firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: (852) 2113 2266 indicating your invoicenumber, preferred authorised retailer for return, chosen Product to exchange(optional) by e-mail to get a Return Authorisation (RA) code before return. Youmay view the list of authorised retailers at the Store Locator on this Website.We shall check the availability of your chosen Product.
b. If your chosen Productis available, we shall send you the RA code and authorised retailer’s addressby email within 3 working days upon receiving your email.
c. If your chosen Productis out of stock, we shall suggest other Products for exchange by email within 3working days upon receiving your email. Please choose another Product forexchange by replying us within 3 working days upon receiving our suggestion. Weshall send you the RA code and authorised retailer’s address by email within 3working days upon receiving your confirmation on the newly chosen Product forexchange. Alternatively, if you do not wish to choose from the suggestedProducts, please inform us to arrange for refund within 3 working days uponreceiving our suggestion.
d. The Product togetherwith the Required Documents for Exchange must be returned to our authorisedretailers within 7 working days upon receiving the RA code.
e. We will not acceptreturns without Required Documents for Exchange (For gift purchase without aninvoice, please contact customer services through email@example.com).
f. Our authorisedretailers will determine whether a returned Product is in its originalcondition (i.e. in the same condition as when originally purchased with alloriginal packaging materials, accessories, unused warranty cards, instructionbooklets and gift redemption) and our decision will be final.
g. If you and ourauthorised retailer are unable to agree on the condition of the Product, ourauthorised retailer will fill in the Return Instruction Form and confirm ourreceipt of the Product. You are required to sign the Return Instruction Form toacknowledge the details stated in the Return Instruction Form. The returnedProduct will then be sent to us for inspection which will take 3 to 5 workingdays. Our decision will be final.
h. If the Net Price perUnit of the Product exchanged is lower than the Net Price per Unit of theProduct returned, the difference will not be refunded. If the Net Price perUnit of the Product exchanged is higher than the Net Price per Unit of theProduct returned, the difference will be charged to you.
i. After receiving the RAcode, address of our authorised retailer and availability of your chosen Product,return the Products (in its original condition, see Terms of Return) togetherwith the Required Documents for Exchange (For gift purchase without an invoice,please contact customer services through firstname.lastname@example.org).
j. Our authorisedretailer will inspect the Products. Upon our inspection that the Products arein their original condition and without any signs of damage, alteration or wearand tear, we will arrange for an exchange of your chosen Product. If it isfound that the Products do not fulfill the aforesaid conditions, your exchangewill be rejected.
VIII. PRODUCT WARRANTY
All productssold by us are covered by the warranty terms offered by the brand. Please referto the warranty card or warranty booklet for the detailed warranty terms andthe warranty period offered by each brand.
The warrantydoes not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, wear to the case or moisturedamage (if the Product is non-water resistant), nor does it apply if there isevidence of misuse or abuse, including defects related to servicing not carriedout by authorised dealers. Products damaged by wear and tear are not classed asa manufacturing defect.
During thewarranty period, you may return the Product with postage prepaid or to ourauthorised retailers. You may view the list of authorised retailers at ourStore Locator. If you cannot locate a service centre near you, you may returnthe Product to us for after sales services by contacting our customer servicesthrough email: email@example.com or byphone: (852) 2113 2266 (the Product must be returned with postageprepaid). Please remember to send theProduct accompanied with a valid warranty card.
In case ofmanufacturing defects covered by the warranty, we may arrange to refundexchange the Product or repair the defective part. Exchange will be subject tostock availability.
