Exterior Design:
The transparent back reveals the golden winged horse galloping on the rotor of the movement, perfectly blending with the movement's rhythm. In the Chinese year, with a Chinese heart, the oriental auspicious creature, the winged horse, not only echoes the good fortune of the Year of the Horse but also alludes to the story of the wise man recog- nizing the fine steed.
The stillness of the dial is like a lute's melody encountering a patron, while the movement on the back of the watch is like a winged horse soaring. The combination of stillness and movement gently sings the stringed song of spring.
Movement:
The ultra-thin automatic tourbillon wristwatch, featuring the 4.3-millimeter ultra-thin ST8610 movement independently developed by Seagull, marks a new breakthrough for Chinese watches in the field of automatic winding tourbillons. The tourbillon structure is inherently complex, and the wristwatch must strike a perfect balance between "thinness" and "performance" to demon- strate precision through "thinness". The difficulty is self-evident.
The movement adopts a "three-in-a-line" structure, arranging the mainspring barrel, the rotor and the tourbillon vertically, resembling the "horizontal level and vertical straight" in traditional Chinese calligraphy, embodying the Eastern wisdom of "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" and the beauty of symmetry. The unique oscillating weight is inspired by the "V" logo of Seagull. As it swings, the mechanical structure of the oscillating weight appears and disappears like a seagull spreading its wings, creating a visual interaction with the rotation of the tourbillon. The transparent case back of the watch allows one to fully appreciate this delightful dance.
